Message from Director
  • Hello -

My name is Noel Taylor I am the Director of the 100 Nights of Remembrance. Our
mission is to sound live Taps every night (for 100 nights) from Memorial Day to September
11th, at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, and at Mount Calvary
Cemetery in Manchester. This year being the tenth anniversary of the attacks on our nation,
we are holding a very special remembrance ceremony.  It will be unique in that it will be in
two parts. The first part will be dedicated to our N.H. Cadets; we are inviting all New
Hampshire JROTC, Civil Air Patrol and the Naval Sea Cadets Corps units to take part. Their
involvement will consist of an informational afternoon, of learning about the cemetery and
its many monuments, ceremonies and New Hampshire Veteran History.  This event has the
endorsement of the New Hampshire State Adjutant-General, Major General William N.
Reddel III and Colonel Mike Horn the Superintendent of the Cemetery.

“Never Forget” the tragedy of 9/11/01 and the brave first responders of that fateful day.

Additionally, you and all brass playing members of your Unit or School are encouraged  to join
the 100 Nights of Remembrance in the largest ever closing ceremony and the final sounding
of Taps on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.

If you have any questions, please contact me at noeltylr@comcast.net.  We are looking
forward to your participation. I look forward to meeting you and your cadets and to answer
any questions or concerns you may have.

Remember this Remembrance is in two parts
